Nancy Pelosi tells Boston TV that a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket is "impossible."
"I think that the Clinton administration has fairly ruled that out by proclaiming that Senator McCain would be a better Commander in Chief than Obama. I think that either way is impossible," she said.
"Clinton Administration" As a Clinton supporter I'm glad to know that Speaker Pelosi is already thinking of the next Clinton Administration.
You can watch the interview here at NECN
An acquaintance of mine who is far more educated than I had this to say about the Pelosi interview.
Good catch on the slip Hampster, also, her statement not only empowers Clinton, but she cites that Commander-in-Chief statement about Obama as though it is a fact. She did not distill it in any way, nor did she deny it as false.
Nancy Pelosi, in my opinion, has just added to the legitimacy and strength of the Clinton campaign.
Senator Obama himself continues to give Hillary's arguments credence, simply by responding to them.
He is allowing Hillary to control the dialog and I believe he has no choice. She is controlling the dialog thus showing what a strong competitor she is and will be.
John McCain stands no chance against Hillary.
My only real worry about Hillary succeeding as President is that she'll have this horribly weak speaker to work with.
By the way. Here is the Wikipedia entry for Freudian Slip.
